Â鶹ֱ²¥ Athletics has announced that David Duke has been after four years at Fordham University, including two as the associate head coach. Mr. Duke has extensive coaching experience as an integral part of the coaching staff that led Hofstra University toÌýtwo NCAA tournaments (2000 and 2001) and four postseason national invitation tournaments (1999, 2005, 2006, 2007).ÌýIn his subsequent four years at Fordham, his recruiting efforts helped elevate the talent pool considerably, leading to a resurgence of the program and an appearance in the Atlantic-10 Tournament.

“I am honored to be the new head men’s basketball coach at Â鶹ֱ²¥. Growing up only twenty minutes from campus, I have always known Adelphi to be an outstanding academic and athletic institution,” Mr. Duke said. “Adelphi basketball has a great tradition and I look forward to revitalizing the program and bringing back the level of success it has achieved historically.”Ìý
