Â鶹ֱ²¥ recently completed a test of our Emergency Operations Plan (E.O.P.). Per the Clery Act (Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act), we are required to (1) test the university emergency response and evacuation procedures on at least an annual basis, and (2) publicize our emergency response and evacuation procedures, along with a summary of the test.  The following notification is being sent to university employees and students to meet this requirement.

On Monday October 1, 2018, a student reported to the University that they were the victim of a sexual assault that occurred on a previous date at an off campus location.

You've probably seen them at a train station, grocery store or even at the mall. Right between Post Hall and Harvey Hall are the Â鶹ֱ²¥ shuttles, branded in brown and gold.

Preserving the safety and security of students and employees is a top priority for Adelphi. If you see something, say something—as quickly as you can pick up your cell or get to a campus phone.

Adelphi was selected as one of the 50 safest colleges in America, moving up from No. 48 to No. 13—a remarkable jump in public safety rankings.

Update: The person of interest in the alert was successfully detained and arrested.
