To add extended time for a quiz in Moodle:

1. Click on the quiz that you wish to provide an override for
2. Select Edit in the top right corner to see an expanded view of options
3. Select User Overrides and then click Add User Override
4. On the override page, Search for and add your student
5. Click the checkbox, if not done so already, to enable you to change the quiz item’s availability and time limit if necessary
6. When done, click Save. Your override for that student will be applied
