is going to be Adelphi’s new platform for student advising, degree planning and audits, and course registration planning all the way to graduation. The main benefit of Stellic is that students, advisors, and faculty will all have a single system to use in our new, reimagined Advising process. This new platform will replace three existing systems (EAB Navigate; CollegeSource uAchieve Degree Audit; and GradSync), for a unified experience.

Future expansion of Stellic is planned to include a streamlined transfer credit evaluation system, allowing potential transfer students to see how courses at their current institution will apply to an Adelphi degree, and plan future courses towards that degree.

Stellic Advise

Stellic Advise will replace our existing EAB Navigate software. The Stellic Advise system will allow students and advisors to communicate and collaborate in real time, and allow students and advisors to be more involved in the Advising process. Advisors will be able to assist their students more proactively, with better data at their fingertips.

Stellic Audit

Stellic Audit will replace our existing CollegeSource uAchieve Degree Audit. Stellic’s Audit will provide students and advisors a new, intuitive system to help make sure that students are on track for graduation. From tracking progress to certifying that all requirements are completed for graduation will be easier for our Adelphi community.

Stellic Plan

Stellic Audit will bring new functionality to Adelphi for most students and advisors. Some students and advisors are already using a competing product called GradSync, which provides the ability to allow students to map out a plan of courses to successfully graduate. Stellic Audit will bring to the entire Adelphi student community the ability to not just be able to see how past classes apply to a degree, but also how future courses will lead the student to completing that degree. The question of “When will I graduate” will become clearer with Stellic Plan. As thousands of students fill out their plans, course planning will become more efficient for the University, since student preferences will become clear far in advance.

Stellic Schedule

The Stellic Schedule product will provide our students with a new, streamlined process for registration. This product will also allow the student advising experience to be vastly enhanced from end-to-end: Advising will be informed by the Audit system and managed by the Advise system; planning will take place in the Plan system; and Schedule will bring drag-and-drop functionality to the registration process. Other benefits include Stellic’s ability to handle another much-sought feature of handling course registration waitlisting.

Stellic Prospect

Stellic Prospect is an intriguing product that should be a game-changer for Enrollment Management. We can see the product in use at a couple of institutions:

• : A potential student, with no application on file with the University, can view the degree requirements and create a Plan from scratch all in a matter of minutes, all in a self-service manner.
• (Scroll to the bottom, click on “See Programs” under the Plan Your Own Path header):�� Using the same functionality as above, but with an added feature allowing the user to see how transfer credits could potentially apply to the chosen degree by either manually entering which courses he/she took previously, or by uploading his/her transcript. This feature is live today.

For full HIPAA compliance on surveys, you should review your requirements with the Institutional Review Board (IRB). Please review the IRB Manual.

How to Submit a New Request

In the “Submit a New Request” section, enter the name or Adelphi ID of the person you need to pay. A list of matches will appear; select the link under the username of the correct person.

Ensure the individual is marked as “Authorized to Work.” Then, fill out the following fields:

• Department where the work was performed
• Object code
• Amount of the payment
• Begin and end date of the work performed
• Description of services performed

After reviewing your entries you can submit the request. An email confirmation will be sent to you and the payee, as well as to the approver.

Grant Account Payments

If the payment is from a grant account, approval is required from both the manager and the Budget department.

Track Your Request

You can track the status of your request in the “Requests Submitted by Me” section.

Approvals

If you are an approver, you’ll see pending requests in the “Pending Approval Requests” section. You can choose to “Approve” or “Deny” each request and provide a reason if denied. Once a request is approved, emails will be sent to both the payee and the requester.

My Payments

In the “My Payments” section, the payee can view their payments and their current status.
